Texas Takes on Washington in the Alamo Bowl

Plus, the Clippers and Celtics face off in Boston.

We’re just two days away from the College Football Playoff semifinals, and I can’t wait.

Bowl season has been so much fun to watch all week, and we’ve got three more games on the docket today to help lead into the action this weekend. Plus, don’t miss a pair of high-profile conference showdowns in women’s college basketball and an East-vs.-West showdown in the NBA.

Here’s what I’m watching today.

MUST WATCH:

Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

Alamo Bowl: No. 20 Texas vs. No. 12 Washington

Texas showed improvement in its second year under coach Steve Sarkisian. All four of the team’s losses came by a single score, meaning this team was a few breaks away from winding up in the New Year’s Six or CFP. Instead, the Longhorns will wrap up their season against Washington, which engineered a huge turnaround from last year behind an incredible season from transfer QB Michael Penix Jr. Penix is one of the most exciting players to watch in the country, and clinching an 11-win season after the Huskies won just four games a season ago would be impressive.
